Building a Better Oakville
November 17, 2023
Earlier this year, Rosehaven was fortunate to be recognized by the Oakville Chamber of Commerce as a finalist for the OABEs, an award for business excellence. Each of the companies nominated had an exceptional track record of community involvement, contributing to the growth and prosperity of the city. We were honoured to be among them.
For more than a decade, Rosehaven has been a fixture in Oakville’s community; from fundraising for leading healthcare institutions and social support programs, to putting on local events, and building new communities.
One of our landmark achievements as a homebuilder is The Randall, a collection of luxury condominium residences nestled just north of Lakeshore Rd. off Trafalgar Rd. in Old Oakville. The Randall is one of seven communities across the city where Rosehaven has built hundreds of well-crafted new homes. Rosehaven has also had a strong presence in the surrounding areas of Burlington, Hamilton, and Grimsby where we have built award-winning high rises, towns, semis, and single-family homes.
The success of these projects has allowed us to contribute to several causes here in Oakville.
Every year, Rosehaven participates in the local Santa Claus parade and donates all the proceed to Kerr St. Ministries, a charity that provides aid to Oakville’s most vulnerable residents.
Rosehaven also gifted $250,000 to the Oakville Hospital Foundation, one of a series of donations that have been made to healthcare institutions across the GTA. These donations include a $1 million pledge to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and more than $4 million donated through the We Love You Connie Foundation to support of research initiatives for DIPG, a devastating pediatric brain cancer.
Rosehaven is also proud to have partnered with Habitat For Humanity to help low-income families find a home; with the Big Brothers and Sisters of Halton, to support its unique mentoring programs for newcomers to Canada; with STEPS to Recovery, an organization helping those battling addiction; and Healthy Fam, a not-for-profit organization promoting healthy eating in the community.
Over the years, we’ve worked with a diverse range of people doing tremendous work for these important causes in Oakville. We’re glad to have played a role, and we hope to continue to do so for years to come.
